Global denim brand Levi’s—officially opened its new store on one of Cape Town’s most famous streets, Adderley Street. The highly-anticipated launch event, held on 13 July 2023, rolled out the red carpet for Levi’s Red Tab members, local creatives, and the city’s trailblazing fashionistas.
The VIP invitation allowed attendees to try and buy selected in-store items, ranging from effortlessly cool 501s to 90s-inspired Silvertab Loose Jeans.
However, the event offered so much more than exclusive shopping opportunities; it was a carefully curated experience that brought together Cape Town’s fashion collective to celebrate Levi’s legacy, present, and future.
No event would be complete without a signature brand experience and all-night refreshments—and Levi’s delivered with their photo booth, beers from Jack Black, and refreshing sodas from Pura.
The evening’s fashion-forward crowd posed, played, and snapped Insta-worthy memories against a backdrop of beats from the one and only DJ BlaqKongo.
In addition, there was also a classic ribbon-cutting ceremony with a twist: instead of a traditional red ribbon, the store’s official debut was marked by untying a denim ribbon in true Levi’s style.
The new Levi’s store is located at Shop 9, Cape Town CBD, Foreshore Place (ABSA Building), Adderley Street.
