Takalani Sesame is looking for male and female actors, or character performers residing in Johannesburg.
Description
Seeking adults 18+ who are entertainers, actors, comedians, singers, dancers, character performers, and puppeteers interested in being part of the Takalani Sesame kids program. If you are interested in building puppeteering skills, a great performer who is comfortable with physical movement and has an open friendly attitude, then this is for you.

• 1x headshot photo

Details

• Send your 2-3 minute video audition clip showcasing your puppeteering skills
• state your name and age
• give a physical, funny, emotive rendition of ‘Head Shoulders, Knees and toes’ or ‘Old MacDonald Had a Farm’
• Send your clip via email to takalanisessame@sesame.org and include ‘Takalani Audition + your name’ in the subject line’

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

• Puppeteer Casting Workshop: 2-6 September 2019 – Johannesburg
• Production filming period – Mid October to Mid-December

Closing Date for submissions Monday, 19 August 2019 at midnight.
