PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Developing Patterns
– Support in strategy and concept
– Support in maintaining/organization of styles, trims, and development library
– Collaborate and follow up on deliverables and deadlines with all cross-functional partners throughout the design process for different projects
– Prepare materials for meetings and presentations in a timely, organized manner
– Assist with organizing design archives: sketches, research, and garments
– Conduct research on fashion trends/competitive intelligence and report back to designers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
– Assistant/freelance/internship experience preferred
– Passion for Women’s and Men’s apparel design and the Thebe Magugu Brand
EDUCATION
Relevant Degree or Diploma
