adidas Originals hosted its latest Originals Studio event at Victoria Yards in Johannesburg, offering a full-day program curated to engage and inspire the local creative community. The venue was transformed into a multi-room hub featuring workshops, industry talks, live music, food, and product showcases—all unified by the brand’s distinctive Three Stripes identity.
The event featured a series of focused sessions, including a music workshop led by Muzi, a visual language discussion with Yay Abe, and a back-to-basics creative session by Jana and Koos. Solo also facilitated a hands-on screen-printing workshop. These sessions were designed to foster creativity, skill-sharing, and collaboration among attendees.
On the main stage, Nandi Dlepu (Mamakashaka), Thebe Magugu, and Thatiso Dube (GALXBOY) shared insights on brand-building and navigating the creative industry. A panel of music professionals further explored the business and creative dynamics behind the scenes.
Throughout the venue, adidas reinforced its identity—from product displays featuring the Gazelle, Superstar, and Samba silhouettes, to fully branded spaces such as the bar and DJ booth. Every detail reflected the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting and celebrating originality and cultural expression.
