The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) invites students and graduates to apply for a Finance Internship in its Community Development Department.
The internship will be based at 66 Jorissen Street, Braamfontein, and will run for no more than 18 months.

Who can apply?
Applicants must:
- Be Johannesburg residents.
- Have Grade 12 and a relevant qualification in Accounting, Internal Audit, Local Government Finance or Public Finance, or an N6 Financial Management qualification.
- Provide an enrolment confirmation letter from their institution.
- Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.
What will the internship offer?
Successful candidates will gain practical experience in areas including:
- Asset management
- Income and revenue management
- Accounting and budgeting
- Supply chain management
- Capital management
The internship will also provide opportunities to develop financial research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
Monthly stipend
Those who have completed a qualification with a minimum of 360 credits will receive R10,109.86 per month, while enrolled students will receive R4,951.88 per month, with no benefits.
