Ahead of the Season 14 of Idols SA, the reality singing show has already kick-started their auditions as usual – and for those based in around Pretoria and Johannesburg have a chance to attend the next auditions taking place this month.

If you think you have what it takes to walk away with the title, then make sure to attend the next auditions taking place on:
- Saturday, 10 February 2018 at The State Theatre
- Saturday, 24 February 2018 at Carnival City
In addition, Idols SA has extended its 2018 auditions to three more cities:
Bloemfontein: 3 February 2018, Free state – Mimosa Mall
Port Elizabeth: 17 February 2018, Boardwalk Casino and Hotel
Polokwane: 3 March 2018, Savannah Mall
What time should I get to auditions and what should I bring?
The queues are often long, so get there early. Registration will open at 8am. Bring your ID or proof of identification, some water to keep hydrated, food and a song that suits your voice.
Who is allowed to audition for Idols?
Anyone who is a South African citizen between the ages of 16 and 30 may enter Idols. Minors must have written consent signed by a parent or guardian. Singers who auditioned in previous seasons are allowed to re-enter, but not anyone from a previous Top 10.
When does Idols Season 14 start and end?
Idols SA Season 14 broadcast starts on Sunday 8 July and ends on Sunday 18 November.
What is the prize package for Idols this year?
The full prize package is still to be confirmed, but the winner will win a recording contract with Universal Music, amongst other big prizes.
