KFC’s cult-favourite Kentucky Town has made its return with a limited-edition seven-item menu, served at over 560 KFC stores in South Africa.
The Kentucky Town menu includes:
- Six Gun Grill Zinger Braai Burger
- Doritos Cheezy Nacho Burger
- Hot Honey Dunked Wings
- Cherry Boba Bliss
- Chilli Choc Krusher
U.S. TikToker Tyshon Lawrence (19M followers) got hooked and flew down to South Africa to taste it himself. Additionally, Tyshon Lawrence and DJ, designer, and street concierge Mateki2Shoes went on a three-day roadshow from 6–8 August, hitting Potchefstroom, Hartbeespoort, and Joburg to give fans a slice of the action.
This year’s KFC Kentucky menu includes the blackened-bun Six Gun Grill Zinger Braai Burger and the cheesy crunch of a Doritos Cheezy Nacho Burger, fiery Hot Honey Dunked Wings, the heat-packed Jalapeno Blaze Double Down, plus sweet-spicy sips like the Chilli Choc Krusher and Cherry Boba Bliss.
The concept isn’t new—Kentucky Town first launched in Joburg in 2021 and has since popped up in Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Bloem, and even Namibia, Thailand, and Mauritius.
