The offer is designed to help supporters stay connected to every match, especially Bafana Bafana’s World Cup journey.
Here’s how it works:
- Recharge with R50 or more in a single day using any MTN recharge channel.
- Open the MyMTN SA App and redeem your free 1GB DStv Stream data.
- The free data must be claimed before midnight on the day of your recharge.
- Once claimed, the data must be used within 24 hours.
The promotion runs until 19 July 2026.

There’s also an extra reward for Bafana fans. Every time Bafana Bafana scores during the tournament, MTN customers using the MyMTN SA App will receive an additional 1GB of Anytime Data.
The free data can be used to stream matches on DStv Stream, which starts from R99 per month. The platform offers access to more than 80 channels, on-demand entertainment and a dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 channel from SuperSport.
