South Africa’s content creator community came together on Saturday, 17 October 2026, for the Samsung Galaxy Content Creator Awards in Sandton.
Hosted by Mpho “Popps” Modikoane, the event took place at The Galleria in Sandton, bringing together leading content creators, entertainers, industry figures and brand partners for a night of standout performances and well-deserved recognition.
Grace Mondlana was one of the night’s standout winners, taking home both the Trendsetter Award and the prestigious Samsung Galaxy Creator of the Year Award. Vafa Naraghi also walked away with two wins, earning the Best Social Series Award and the Thumbstopping Award.
Six nominees in the 947 Sound of Tomorrow category, Chesrae Megan, Carter Najar, Lordkez, Lukiemusic, Mikhalé Jones and Teagan’s Things, delivered a standout musical medley.
