For March 2026, several top organisations across South Africa are offering exciting internship opportunities for graduates and job-seeking youth.

From finance and banking to government departments, these programmes aim to equip young people with practical workplace skills and career exposure.

Johannesburg City Park, the City of Johannesburg, and Vodacom are opening doors in the financial sector, while government institutions such as the Department of Roads and Transport are also recruiting interns across different sectors.

VODACOM – EARLY CAREERS INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2026

COUNTRY: South Africa

ABOUT: 12-month fixed-term contract providing workplace experience with a structured training programme. Start dates are 1 February and 1 March 2026 (already started).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • South African citizen by birth
  • 26 years old or younger
  • 0-1 year working experience post-studies
  • Minimum 65% aggregate for completed/most recent academic results
  • Minimum B-degree (B.Com, BSc, B.Tech) NQF 7
  • 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) considered only in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, Information Systems/IT
