SANParks Mega Living Landscapes Internship (12 Months Fixed-term contract)

Location: South Africa

Closing Date: 26 March 2026

About: This is a 12-month fixed-term internship within the Park Planning and Development Unit, supporting Mega Living Landscapes projects. The role involves biodiversity stewardship, landscape-scale conservation, stakeholder and landowner engagement, protected-area expansion, GIS mapping, and capacity-building initiatives.

Requirements: Candidates must hold an NQF 6 diploma in Nature Conservation, Environmental Management, or a related field. A Code 08 driver’s licence is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and GIS software. First National Bank (FNB) is offering a 12-month Learnership Programme providing practical workplace exposure along with the opportunity to complete a registered learnership. The programme offers placements across multiple business areas including Marketing, Finance, Collections, FNB Cards, Private and Wealth Investments, Sales, Customer Service, Administration and Support, and Catering. These learnerships pay a monthly stipend of R5,933.

To qualify, applicants must be between 18 and 34 years old, be a South African citizen, have a minimum of a Matric certificate (NQF 4), have been unemployed for at least 6 months, not be currently studying, have less than 12 months of work experience, and not have previously participated in the FirstJob programme.


Wesbank – Learnership Programme 2026

Location: 9 different locations nationwide
Closing Date: 22 March 2026 (Note: Already closed)

WesBank is offering a 12-month Learnership Programme for unemployed graduates. This opportunity provides participants with the opportunity to gain real workplace experience while completing a formal training programme. Learners will be involved in various operational functions within the organisation and will be able to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R12,387 for the duration of the 12-month fixed-term learnership. Applicants must be between 18 and 34 years old, be a South African citizen, be currently unemployed, have a Matric certificate and a post-matric qualification (graduate), and have little or no formal work experience. City of Ekurhuleni – Finance Management Internship

Location: Ekurhuleni, Gauteng

The City of Ekurhuleni is offering a Finance Management Internship Programme for unemployed graduates. This temporary internship programme offers valuable workplace exposure and skills development in finance-related fields within a local government environment. The remuneration is from R4,833 per month.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management and/or Auditing. Candidates must be a resident of the City of Ekurhuleni, be a South African citizen, be unemployed at the time of application, not have previously participated in a similar internship programme, and be under the age of 35. FNB – Graduate Internship Programme

FNB is offering Graduate Internship Programmes for final-year students and recent graduates. The programme offers eight graduate opportunities across retail and commercial banking segments in teams working on credit analytics, product development, process and technology development, financial, fraud and risk analysis, customer experience, usability, brand and financial management roles. All roles on the graduate program are permanent positions.

Applicants must have strong academic results (academic transcript required), currently completing the final year of relevant university programs in Actuarial Science, Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Chemistry, Data Science, UX, or related fields. An analytical and numeric mindset with strong problem-solving skills is essential.

Foschini Group (TFG) – YES Internships

The Foschini Group is offering YES Internship positions including roles as Planner or Buyer. These internships are for young South Africans aged between 18 to 28 years old.
