July 2026 brings another exciting round of internship and graduate opportunities across South Africa for young people eager to gain valuable workplace experience and kick-start their careers.
From technology, finance, and retail to government, housing, and public service, several organisations have opened applications for programmes designed to equip graduates and first-time job seekers with practical skills, industry exposure and professional development.
Among the opportunities currently available are programmes at CIPC, the Road Accident Fund (RAF), Sanlam, iStore, the City of Johannesburg, SASSA, and the Free State Department of Human Settlements. ABOUT: The Department of Correctional Services is offering a 24-month public service graduate internship across Head Office, training colleges and regional offices nationwide. It is aimed at unemployed graduates who need workplace experience in government.
REMUNERATION: R8 174.75 per month

ABOUT: CIPC is offering a 12-month graduate internship in Innovation and Collaboration for candidates interested in software engineering, mobile development and digital transformation.
REMUNERATION: R12 000 per month

ROAD ACCIDENT FUND – CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE CENTRE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2026 (X4 POSTS)

ABOUT: RAF is recruiting unemployed graduates aged 18–25 for an 18-month internship in the Customer Experience Centre, with exposure to claims consultation, onboarding, merits assessment, administration and data capturing.

CITY OF JOHANNESBURG – STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2026 (PUBLIC HOUSING PROGRAMME SUPPORT)

ABOUT: The City of Johannesburg Human Settlements Department is offering an 18-month student internship in Public Housing Programme Support at 222 Smit Street, Braamfontein, to provide work-based training and exposure in human settlements delivery, project support and policy implementation.
REMUNERATION: R10 109.86 per month
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Built Environment
- Confirmation letter from institution
- Must be a City of Johannesburg resident
- Must never have participated in an internship before

SASSA – WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING PROGRAMME (TVET PLACEMENT)
CLOSING DATE: 31 July 2026
ABOUT: SASSA is inviting TVET learners in Limpopo to apply for an up to 18-month WIL placement to complete their qualification requirements in streams such as Public Management, Office Management, HR, Finance, and Risk. The closing date is shown on the Graduates24 listing for this page.
REMUNERATION: R5 865.25 per month
REQUIREMENTS:
- South African citizen
- TVET learner in Limpopo Province
- N6 certificate or statement of results in the relevant field
- Must meet stream-specific subject requirements
