Capitec Graduate Internships 2027

Interns will gain real-world experience.

Capitec has officially opened applications for its 2027 Internship Programme, allowing recent graduates to gain hands-on experience at one of South Africa’s biggest banks.



Designed to help young professionals make the transition from campus to the workplace, the programme offers practical exposure, structured learning and the chance to build valuable skills in a professional environment.

According to Capitec, interns will gain real-world experience while working alongside industry professionals, helping them kick-start their careers with confidence.

Who can apply?

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen with a valid 13-digit South African ID number.
  • Have a clear criminal and credit record.
  • Have completed a relevant tertiary qualification within the last three years.
  • Hold a Grade 12 National Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational).
  • Be willing to relocate to Stellenbosch, Century City or Sandton, depending on where the opportunity is based.
  • Have a basic understanding of office systems, tools and workplace practices.

Do you need work experience?

The good news is that previous work experience is not required.

Capitec said no prior experience is necessary, although any internship experience or work exposure related to your field of study would be considered an advantage.
