Dove is inviting South Africans to nominate bold and inspiring social media voices for the first-ever #DoveCreatorCollective, a creator academy celebrating authenticity, confidence, and self-expression.
The #DoveCreatorCollective is centred around real-life moments, personal stories, and self-expression, celebrating creators who confidently embrace their true selves and #SkinThatDoves.
This nationwide search gives South Africans the chance to spotlight creators who inspire them through self-expression, confidence, creativity, and authenticity in beauty.
Pavla Sessions, Marketing Manager for Dove South Africa, says the #DoveCreatorCollective celebrates creators “who show up as their unapologetic, authentic selves” and share “real stories that resonate beyond the feed.”
The #DoveCreatorCollective will support a new generation of creators through mentorship, masterclasses, and access to industry leaders, helping selected “Dovelies” grow their content skills and influence.
Expect immersive experiences, from high-energy events and product drops to meaningful moments that celebrate a dynamic, expressive lifestyle full of possibility.
The journey starts with public nominations, followed by a curated selection process led by the Dove Creator Council, featuring voices like Mpoomy Ledwaba, Lwandile Makhaza, Coachella Randy, Lebo Lion, and Thickleeyonce.
Once nominated, creators will submit their content for review by the Dove Creator Council, with 60 standout creators selected from Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.

Who can enter?
The #DoveCreatorCollective is open to South African creators aged 18 and over, with a passion for authentic storytelling and a consistent content presence. Eligible nominees should have:
- At least 1,500-15 000 Instagram followers
- At least 1,000-15 000 TikTok followers
- Reside in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban
Here are the most important Ts & Cs to note before applying for the Dove Creator Collective:
- You must be 18+ and based in South Africa, specifically in Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban, and be a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid ID.
- Entries are open from 4 May 2026 to 31 May 2026.
- The process has 4 stages: nomination, accepting the nomination with your content post, council review, and then selection into the academy.
- To accept a nomination, you must post a “day in your life with Dove” on Instagram and/or TikTok, tag @dovesouthafrica, and use #DoveCreatorCollective.
- You must meet the minimum follower requirements: 1,500–15,000 followers on Instagram and 1,000–15,000 on TikTok.
- Dove is looking for creators with a consistent posting history, original content, and strong alignment with Dove’s values.
- Your content must not include hate speech, explicit content, misinformation, or reputational risk.
- You should not have partnered recently with direct competitors within the last 3–6 months.
- By entering, you agree to 1 year usage rights for your content and partnership-related terms.
- Only one entry is allowed per person/group, and you can only win one prize.
- If selected, Dove will contact winners by Instagram or TikTok DM, and you’ll have 5 days to respond before the prize is forfeited.
- Winners may need to verify personal details such as full name, ID number, email, phone number, and address before receiving prizes.
- Prize experiences are available at Dove’s discretion and are tied to creators from the three listed cities.
